Eyes on Me
She Feels Pretty has stunned across 10 career starts, locking down seven wins, including five graded stakes, and nearly $1.8 million in purse earnings.
Currently riding a four-race win streak, the sizzling Cherie DeVaux charge enters this Saturday’s $500,000 Dunkin’ Diana (G1T) at Saratoga as the early even-money favorite.
Fresh off a hard-fought half-length New York (G1T) tally, She Feels Pretty’s recent tear spans back to last October, where her winning ways started in the Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup (G1T) at Keeneland.
The $240,000 purchase also struck gold in December’s American Oaks (G1T) and May’s Modesty (G3T) during the hot stretch.
Slight Extension
While last November’s Breeders’ Cup Turf (G1T) took a toll on Far Bridge (ninth), the resilient 5-year-old has rebounded nicely in 2025, finding the winner’s circle twice from three starts.
Coming off his first loss of the season – a third in June’s Manhattan (G1T) – Far Bridge will stretch out to 1 3/8 miles for the 200,000 Bowling Green (G2T) at Saratoga.
After competing at 1 1/8 miles last time out, the distance specialist will add two furlongs for trainer Miguel Clement on Saturday.
The double millionaire colt appears well positioned to handle the added distance, opening as the early 6-5 choice.
Wearing a New Jersey
Win N Your In is pulling a reverse Jaromir Jagr, heading to New Jersey from Florida for the $125,000 Sparkle Blue Stakes on Saturday at Monmouth Park.
While much younger than the still active 53-year-old NHL and international hockey legend, the 3-year-old filly will leave her home state of Florida for just the second time in 10 starts in pursuit of career stakes win number four.
Having already captured the Sharp Susan, Susan’s Girl, and South Sophomore Fillies, Win N Your In eyes a bounce back effort after a third in the Game Face last time out (May 31).
The Carlos David trainee opens at 6-1.
A Little Hustle
After a strong run at the lower levels, Conquerthosewecan will attempt to find her groove at the stakes tier when she contests Saturday’s $125,000 Miss Disco during Colonial Downs’ opening weekend.
Scheduled for race five, the seven-furlong dash features a field of eight hopefuls, of which Conquerthosewecan opens as the narrow 3-1 second choice behind Mila Candy (5-2).
Ridden and Trained by husband-and-wife team Sheldon and Brittany Russell, the 3-year-old filly started her career with a pair of seconds before netting her first career victory in the last start of her rookie campaign.
Conquerthosewecan’s sophomore campaign opened with triumph on June 21 at Laurel Park to push her career record to 2-2-0 through four tries.
Don’t Settle
The second stakes feature on Colonial Downs’ Saturday card – the $125,000 Star De Naskra – features another Russell-schooled runner in 3-year-old gelding Saxton, who also eyes a breakthrough at the stakes ranks.
While not for a lack of trying, Saxton’s stakes résumé remains limited to a pair of seconds, a third, and a fourth across four attempts.
The Virginia-bred’s most recent stakes outing was in March’s Jimmy Winkfield, where he finished second.
Saxton got back in the win column last time out after landing in second and fifth in two starts following the Winkfield.
Now standing at 1-2-0 through five starts this season, Saxton enters the Star De Naskra at 9-2.
