Spotlight Races for Sunday September 7th:

Race 4 – $300,000, Grade 1 Del Mar Futurity, 7 furlongs on the main track at 6:06pm ET

Race 5 – $80,000, 5 furlongs on the turf at 6:39pm ET

What to do with a $20 Bet:

First bet – $2 Rolling Double – #2 Brant with #1 Throwthefirstpunch , #3 Off the Bench, #4 Trouble and Strife, #6 Beep, #8 Bookend Clubhouse

Second bet – $5 Win and $5 place on #3 Off the Bench

The Reason:

Brant is the opening-line choice in the Del Mar Futurity and was a beast in his debut. The next dash doesn’t get any more wide-open, so we’ll hope one of our longshots can hit the bull’s eye – if that happens to be #3 Off the Bench, it will be twice as nice.
